DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER
DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, WASHINGTON, DC

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will assist the Program Manager (PM) with oversight of the Security Force and Emergency Watch Stander portion of the contract and provide coverage for the PM when the PM is on leave or unavailable.


The DPM must have an Associate Degree in a related discipline or three years, recent experience, serving in a supervisory position on a security services contract. The DPM must have the training and experience in law enforcement operations and training, payroll activities, and personnel administration with an active SECRET CLEARANCE.


The DPM must possess good oral and written communication skills. The DPM must comprehend and enforce rules, detailed instructions, and training materials. It is required that the DPM be able to maintain poise and self-control under stressful conditions and make quick decisions, and co-manage a security force of 50 or more Protective Security officers.
